Sixth Street Art Coalition is a collaboration with local artists and designers to create exclusive merchandise to sell online. 100% of all profits will go directly to supporting the Sixth Street Community Center’s emergency food pantry. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, 1 in 5 Lower East Side residents were facing food insecurity. One can only imagine how that number has increased now that millions of New Yorkers have lost their income. Families are faced with difficult decisions everyday: having to choose between which essentials to pay for - food, healthcare or rent. To survive this crisis, the Sixth Street Community Center is doing all that they can to support our community. The Sixth Street Art Coalition was founded by Ali Fischbein - a local Alphabet City resident looking to do something good in her community.
